ABOUT DR CHIN
Born in the northern state of Penang, Dr Chin Yee-Fatt was among the top students in Malaysia offered prestigious Singapore Government scholarships. Dr Chin completed his high school and tertiary education in Singapore, obtaining his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. His academic achievements won him numerous awards and University Medals. Among others, he was awarded the “Top Final Year Graduate in Dentistry”, “Best All-Round Graduant” and “Best in Oral Surgery” medals.
After graduation, Dr Chin served in the Community Dental Service and in the National University Hospital Dental Centre. He later joined a private dental group practice and is currently one of the practice equity partners and clinical directors.
Dr Chin’s keen interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry has motivated him to travel extensively to learn from different experts in various fields of Dentistry. He obtained his post-graduate diploma and was conferred a membership to The Royal College of Surgeons of England, M.F.G.D.P (RCS England). He has been invited to lecture and perform clinical workshops in Singapore and abroad. He has also been on radio talk show and interviewed by the media to educate the general public on different aspects of aesthetics and general dental care.
Apart from private practice, Dr Chin teaches regularly at the National University of Singapore where he holds an adjunct lecturer position. He is also the course director for a dental surgery assistant course for the Royal Armed Forces of Brunei.
Dr Chin is driven by his passion to provide Excellence in Dentistry with Gentle Care. His scope of practice includes crowns and bridges, wisdom tooth removal, dental implants and regular check-up for both children and adults and aesthetic dentistry such as teeth whitening, veneers, bondings and smile makeover.
